Advise the driver of your destination when boarding the bus. If you need a transfer to continue your trip, be sure to ask for one when paying your fare. A Change Card will be issued if you are due more than $1 in change. This Change Card can be used on future GGT bus trips. GGT adult cash one-way bus fares vary according to the length of the trip and number of Fare Zones crossed. GGT adult cash bus fares are shown below. For Golden Gate Ferry Fares click here. How to Determine Your FareUsing the fare zone map at left and the applicable fare table (adult, youth, local, etc.) below, locate your FROM and TO travel zones to determine your one-way fare. For example, if you want to travel from San Rafael (Zone 3) to San Francisco (Zone 1), locate San Rafael (in the left-hand column of table) and then look horizontally across the table to where Zone 3 intersects Zone 1 (indicated with white background). Your one-way adult cash fare would be $5.25. Muir Woods
Round Trip Shuttle Fare

Round trip fares are collected in the westbound direction traveling to Muir Woods. A Shuttle Pass is issued when you pay your fare. Please retain this Pass and present it to the driver on your return trip. No one-way fares are available. Shuttle Passes are valid only on the day of purchase. Fare may be paid by cash (exact change required), Value Cards, or Marin Transit Passes. Clipper card, tickets, or transfers are not accepted on Route 66. Click for complete details, including schedules and maps. NOTE: Muir Woods Shuttle service is seasonal, generally operating weekends and holidays only from May through September.
Golden Gate Transit Discount Fares

Adult Discount Fare
These fares represent a 20% discount off the adult cash fare for intercounty travel (10% when traveling within Marin) and are valid when using a Marin Transit Value Card or Clipper card.

Marin Transit Period Passes: 1-Day, 7-Day, and 31-Day Marin Local Bus Service
Marin Transit offers Daily, Weekly (7-day), and Monthly (31-day) Passes for unlimited rides within the given time period. Passes are for travel within Marin County ONLY. The 1-Day pass can only be purchased on buses, and the 7-Day and 31-Day passes can be purchased online or at several local vendors.
